Where the Malabar Coast
meets Arab Street.

Two histories, one address. Singapore's Arab Street has hosted travellers from the 1820s. Malabar migrants from Kerala's coast built their community here from the 1800s — Malabar Street still bears their name. We cook where those two stories meet.

Every dish we ordered was tasty and full of flavour. The warm hospitality made it feel more like visiting a family friend's home than dining at a restaurant.

The food here is so, so yummy! The Karak Chai was fragrant and went perfectly with the flavourful egg coconut curry and fluffy crisp Porotta. Finished with a Sulaimani — the fresh mint leaf was a lovely touch.

Food was so yummy! Injipuli Chicken Wings was something new and super tasty — highly recommend as a starter. The Neipathiri with Paal Kaanthari Chicken combo was awesome. Must try!

Amazing food. The porotta was nicely flaky, the pathiri soft, and the veg kurma had that comforting, homely taste. The falooda was the perfect finish.

Great experience at Café Malabar. Must try the cutting chaya and chicken 65 — I've been searching for good chicken 65 in Singapore and finally found it here.

Best Chicken 65 I've had here. Very cozy atmosphere. Loved the place and the food is just amazing. Don't miss out the tea to end the meal. Found my new lunch place for the weekends.

Kizhi parotta chicken, kallappam with beef and paal kaanthari were delicious — highly recommend. Injipuli wings was an interesting sour-sweet dish worth trying.

Awesome place if you love Kerala cuisine — the original biryani, beef ularthiyathu, nool parotta and pathiri are all excellent. For dessert, the Falooda is icing on the cake.

Food was sooo good. Proper homely taste that genuinely reminded me of food from home. Honestly better Malabar food than a lot of the Malabar hotels back in Malabar itself.

Truly worth every penny considering the quality and generous portions. Surprisingly more affordable than many street food options in Arab Street. A must-visit for anyone who loves Kerala cuisine.
